Freelance Writing- Getting PAID for your work

So freelance writing interests you? Yes, well writing takes work, a lot of work. Notice how what we do is called "Earning money writing on the Internet". It is NOT called "getting free money writing on the internet" or "getting money on the internet while sitting comfortably on your ass". Writing for a LIVING is NOT a get rich quick scheme .If you are going to be in the business of writing then treat writing as a business, that means WRITE A Lot.
Motivated yet or ready to give up?
One of the main reasons that writers fail is that they never take action. They just keep on reading crap from the "experts", and dreaming that things will happen all of a sudden, and wealth will fall in their lap. The internet doesn't work that way, sorry if I burst your bubble. Get rich quick is a scam, too good to be true, scam. As I said above writing is WORK, to be paid to write means to write, a lot.
Now on to the first of many sources of income producers available to freelance writers. Today I'll start with Guru.com, it is one of the two major outsourcing auction sites, you BID on writing jobs. The nice thing about these types of sites is that you will get PAID for the work you complete, most generally within 30 days. Don't bother with the free memberships; you won't be entitled to many bids per month and you will be competing against far too many other writers for low paying jobs.
Don't misunderstand; low paying jobs are still jobs. The problem is the volume of work in relation to the number of competing writers.
Pay small monthly fees, and you will be able to pick up some steady work. You will find yourself writing newsletters, e-books and content for online marketers (the get rich quick guys). You will find some MAJOR authors on Guru.com picking up work! If at all possible bid on jobs posted by repeat buyers, with proven paying records. If you want to bid on lower paying jobs go for it, with practice you can write many articles per day. If your going to supply additional material make sure you charge accordingly, not at a discounted price.

PS. Take this one for what it's worth. I type well, ok fairly well. A program I have no affiliation with that will assist greatly in your article writing endeavor, is called Dragon Naturally Speaking. I use it to take notes, complete outlines, and write articles. Another program I use is called writers block, this program organizes your notes into manageable blocks you can easily arrange. With good notes you will be able to crank out articles easily.
